ENTRY COURSES

Here at The New Sewing School, we aim to help you build up confidence in your own skills, creativity and talents to take with you
throughout your sewing journey.

With a maximum of 4 students per class, each individual is given the time and attention necessary to ensure they're comfortable with each new technique before moving forward.

Our classroom environment creates a relaxed yet focused atmosphere where your personal goals are improved and reflected upon at every step of the way.
 
All courses include personal use of a sewing machine, working space and mannequin.
We also have a large library of designs with their graded patterns for use in and outside of class free of charge.

Our studio also includes:
- Three-thread overlocker
- Four-thread overlocker
- Iron press and tailoring hams
- Small equipment for rental use (Paper scissors, threads, measuring tapes, rulers etc)

Grasp the confidence of basic garment construction from patterns and fabric terminology to set-in sleeves and bias bound cuffs. Create a jacket from a basic bodice block filled with different techniques as a reference tool for your learning

Pattern Cutting Course

Learn the basic tools to begin pattern cutting for a range of clothes using your own personal measurements. Alter these patterns to a preferred style or design. A great choice to expand your sewing choice and creativity.
