All courses include personal use of a sewing machine, COVID regulated working space and a mannequin.

We also have a large library of designs in EU sizes 36 - 44 for use in and outside of class included in the class price.

Our studio also includes:
- Three-thread overlocker
- Four-thread overlocker
- Iron press and tailoring hams
- Small equipment for rented use
(Paper scissors, threads, measuring tapes, rulers)

During this 3 week mini course
you will sew a cotton knit t-shirt
from start to finish.

The course includes the completion of the following projects:
- A classic knitted T-Shirt

You will learn about different types of knit fabrics and their properties, the techniques used to sew stretchy fabrics and all the tools you need to create great-looking knit garments for yourself, your family or friends. We will show you how to sew knit fabrics with a serger/overlocker OR a regular domestic sewing machine.


You will also learn how to:

Sew stable knits (cotton jersey) using an overlocker and sewing machine

Learn to understand and use stretch fabrics

Cut out knit fabrics

Insert a flat sleeve

Attach a neckband

Topstitch on knit fabric

Hemming techniques for knit fabrics
